I thought about this record for quite some time, just trying to figure out what I was going to do with it. With it being the 13th album, I knew it had to be something like a greatest hits type thing but wasn't sure how to go about it. So after various ideas of what to do, it just made sense that I would do a full regular double album like I always do, plus add two discs of my favorite original songs, and two discs of my favorite covers I've done. This was a massive undertaking and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Well, today is Independence Day but lately I can't help but feel that our freedom is not what it used to be. The word is that our country is the greatest nation on Earth, the most free country on Earth, the best on Earth. Yet, this country, thanks to our illustrious leaders, is more than 14 trillion dollars in debt, which is owed to many of countries on the other side of the world. Our country tends to take care of people in countries that hate, rather than take care of people living on our own streets. Our country's leaders send our troops over to places we have no business being in, therefore making even more enemies. It scares me to think that if for some reason, all of those countries band together and declare war on us, we could be in trouble. But enough of that, most of my political views on on my For President album that I released two years ago and I held nothing back on that.

Today is kind of a bitter sweet day for me. Today, I release some new singles, the originals (Feel The Loneliness and Desperately Miss You) and covers (Can't Help Falling In Love and Does That Blue Moon Ever Shine On You). The plan was to be done releasing singles from The Two Sides Of Me and Echoes Of Memories some time ago but due to being so busy writing and recording this new album, it kinda pushed everything back a little bit. Songs From The Vault was originally intended to be released today, basically declaring my own independence of sorts. But it as well got pushed back. Now, I have promoted three albums at the same time before but I had no intention on doing that this time around. The Two Sides Of Me and Echoes Of Memories were tied in together and complimented each other perfectly, meanwhile, Songs From The Vault is its own monster and I wanted to keep them separate.  Pretty soon, I will reveal the cover of the album, it is downright creepy, even my own Dad said it looks scary. In the next couple weeks, I will release the final singles from the two albums and then I will release the lead singles from the new one and reveal the release date for the new album.

Meanwhile, I hope you guys enjoy your holiday and the fireworks.

With the promotion of The Two Sides Of Me and Echoes Of Memories winding down, I'm proud the announce that my next album "Songs From The Vault" will be released in early August. It is by far, my most personal effort to date. Featuring songs written from long ago and recently written songs, it is full of anguish and heartbreak, much more so than Echoes of Memories and Emotional Remains combined. In simple terms, it is my version of Michael Jackson's album HIStory. The cover is one of the creepiest I've ever seen and one of the best I've seen and fits the album perfectly. The digibook is currently under production and soon as that is done, and one more single has been released from The Two Sides Of Me and Echoes Of Memories, I will release "Songs From The Vault."
